О вузе

Being an ancient public school with the history of over a hundred years, Suzhou Vocational Health College is an advanced full-time college and the first provincial exemplary higher vocational health college directly under the governance of Jiangsu Province. The college’s predecessor is the private Nursing School of Boxi Hospital which was founded by the American Christian Church in 1911. It was set up as Suzhou Medical Professional School in 1958 and firstly r a n a pilot scheme of five-year higher vocational health education in 1996 . The school was upgraded to Suzhou Vocational Health College in 2005 and accredited as the first Exemplary Higher Vocational College of Jiangsu Province in health - care industry. Located in the ancient city Suzhou known as “Heaven on Earth”, the college has a total area of over 502,000 square meters and a construction area of over 300,000 square meters. The main campus is in the north ern district of Suzhou International Education park and the other two are in the downtown and Mudu Town respectively. Suzhou Vocational Health College has nearly 10 ,000 full-time students and approximately 400 full-time teachers among whom about 40 % hold advanced professional titles as professors or associate professors and 70% have Master Degree or above.…
