О вузе

Zunyi Normal University is situated in Zunyi, a city famous for its culture and revolutionary history. Located in Xinpu University Town, Zunyi. It is an institution of centennial teacher-training tradition. Its history can be traced back to 1907 when Zunyi Primary Normal School was founded with the mission of "training teachers for education", which laid the foundation for modern teacher education in Zunyi. The Chinese Ministry of Education later upgraded it to be a full-time undergraduate University in 2001. The profound history and centennial teacher-training tradition demonstrates the legacy being built in Zunyi. Throughout the years, ZYNU has formed the University motto "Nurturing talents with virtues, and achieving application by diligence;" the University spirit of "Abiding by morality and justice, encouraging the formation of quality and acquisition of knowledge;" the teaching style of "valuing both morality and ability and highlighting both virtue and knowledge;" and the learning style of "devoting to learning and thinking, pursuing knowledge and truth." Following the duty of "keeping a foothold in local areas and serving the grassroots", the University has cultivated a large number of excellent primary and secondary school teachers who work in local areas at the grassroots level and high-quality talents who make contributions to the local economy and society.
