О вузе

Xishuangbanna Vocational and Technical College (XVTC), with its establishment being approved by the People's Government of Yunnan Province and filed with the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, is a state-run institution of higher vocational and technical education with independent operating qualifications. As one of Yunnan's pilot colleges and universities oriented to the implementation of the province's "going-global" strategy and one of its bases for training international talents with practical skills, it has been awarded the provincial-level honorable titles of the “Outstanding Unit” and the “Advanced Unit” on account of its excellence in promoting employment of graduates. XVTC is listed in the first batch of Yunnan's provincial-level exemplary institutions of higher vocational education. Category of XVTC: Postsecondary Specialized College XVTC occupies an area of 200 mu (approx. 13.3 ha.) and its new campus with an area of more than 2,000 mu (approx. 133.3 ha.) is under construction. Currently, it has 8,411 registered students inclusive of 364 international students and 374 teaching and administrative staff members, including 274 full-time teachers.
