О вузе

Xihua University is a provincial key comprehensive university in Sichuan, whose history can be traced back to 1960. Xihua was established from a merger of the former Sichuan Institute of Science and Technology and the former Chengdu Normal College on April 16, 2003, and then, the university is expanded by another merger with Sichuan Economic Management Institute in September 2008. Situated in Chengdu, a famous historical and cultural city, the environment of the main campus is beautiful and impressive as it stands close to the National Hi-tech Zone (West), west to the hometown of the legendary Emperor Wang and Emperor Cong as well as the ancient philosopher, Yang Xiong. What is more, a branch of Minjiang River, coming from Dujiangyan, is winding through the campus charmingly. After more than a half century's development, Xihua has made great achievements despite hardships and grown up with opening and integration. The university now has 27 schools, 32 master's degree programs, and 91 undergraduates programs. Specialized in engineering, it has enjoyed a balanced development of engineering, science, liberal arts, management, economics, law, education and arts, history, agriculture and medicals. To Respond the “One Belt One Road” initiative, Xihua University is in favor of opening to the outside world and actively seeking international cooperation and communications.…
