Founded in 1956, Wuhan Railway Vocational College of Technology (hereafter referred to briefly as WRC) is a full-time higher vocational institute specialized in railway programs, sponsored by Hubei provincial government. WRC is one of China’s exemplary vocational colleges, top fifty colleges with good employment and one of the first modern apprenticeship pilot units of Ministry of Education. WRC offers 38 programs and has an enrollment of over 13000 full-time students nationwide, with 8 academic schools such as School of Railway Transport Management, School of Railway Locomotive and Vehicle, School of Railway Communications and Signals, School of Railway Engineering, School of Machinery and Electronics, School of Electrical Engineering and Automation, School of Economics and Management, Medical and Nursing School and so on. With a more than 69-year-long history, WRC has gained rich experience in industry-education integration and school-enterprise cooperation. It has played an important role in promoting the development of the railway industry and the economic and social development of Hubei province. Graduates of WRC are generally welcomed by the society and rail transit enterprises, and the employment rate has retained a percentage of over 96% in recent years.…
