О вузе

The University of Science and Technology Liaoning (USTL) was founded in 1948. It was one of China's earliest metallurgical universities. University of Science and Technology Liaoning is a multidisciplinary university with a main focus on engineering and cooperatively development of science, economics, management, literature, law, art and other disciplines. In the past 60 years, USTL has gradually formed its own teaching characteristics of "rooting in metallurgy, cooperating with enterprise, focusing on practice, aiming at cultivating integrated high quality professionals". The university has cultivated a large number of talents. Many of them have become technology talents, technology leaders and backbone of management in enterprise and public institution. Our graduates have taken important positions, such as chairman, general manager, in Ansteel, Hebeisteel, Bosteel, Baosteel, Bensteel, Lingsteel, Baosteel, Tongsteel and many other large steel enterprises. The school is located in the city of Anshan. It covers an area of 1.8 million square meters. USTL owns 19 schools, an education department and an engineering training center.
