О вузе

Shanxi University is one of the earliest disciplined university in China established in 1902 with long history . It pioneered the education management mode of “ Chinese and Western Colleges ” in the history of Chinese modern education, emphasis on both arts and sciences. It is also the birthplace of modern higher education in China. At present, 2,4096 undergraduate and 7,432 graduates ，31,528 in total are studying in this university with 2141 full-time lecturers and 1169 professors. Shanxi University hosts over-all specialties and has built up a proud reputation for its profound research results . The academic fields cover 69 majors for undergraduates, 137 general Masters of Arts and Sciences programs and 48 doctorate programs. It provides a collection of 3.0 5 million books and 603 GB e-books in its library and more than 119 million RMB in teaching and research instruments . The campus, covering a geographic area of 3,008 mu and a floor space of 1,100,000 square meters. Shanxi University has increasingly enlarged its international exchanges. It has established intercollegiate relationship with over 6 0 universities and institutions .
