Profile of Shanxi Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering(SIMEE) Founded in 1958, it is a full-time ordinary higher vocational college sponsored by the people's Government of Shanxi Province and directly under the Department of Education of Shanxi Province. The college is the national modern apprenticeship pilot vocational college determined by the Ministry of education; the only higher vocational college prized as National College with Huang Danian style teaching team in Shanxi Province. The college won the "Top 50 Influential Asia Pacific Vocational Colleges in 2019", and was selected as the construction unit of high-level higher vocational schools and specialty construction plan (double high program) with Chinese characteristics in 2019. Campus and I nfrastructure The college covers an area of more than 500,000 square meters with a total fixed assets value of 240 million RMB. The value of teaching instruments and equipment is more than 80 million yuan. There are more than 400,000 books in the library. The stadium covers an area of more than 33,000 square meters. The modern campus, which integrates modernization, digitalization and gardening, is like a magnificent picture scroll which transcends the vulgarity and unfolds in front of us.
