О вузе
Founded in 1953, Hebei GEO University (HGU ) , was one of the 5 universities affiliated to the former Ministry of Geology and is now jointly supported by the Ministry of Land and Resources and the People ’ s Government of Hebei Province. It is a provincial key university . Li Tingdong, member of Chinese Academy, is the honorary president of HGU. As the first educational institute affiliated to the Ministry of Geology in New China setting up programs of Economics and Management, HGU is dedicated to the core mission- providing personnel and technical support for the sustainable development of resources and environment. Adhering to the motto of global vision, broad mindeness, wide knowledge and the tradition of being hard-working, realistic and innovative, after about 70 years of development, HGU has gradually formed the characteristics of "resources and environment +" , multi-disciplinary , collaborative development and deep cross-integration . Now, there are about 18000 full-time students on campus. HGU has 12 first-level disciplines of master degree and 65 bachelor degree programs, covering the disciplines of Sciences, Engineering, Management, Economics, Law, Liberal Arts and Arts.…
