Established in 1984, Chongqing College of Architecture and Technology is an institution of higher education authorized by People's Government of Chongqing. As one of key colleges in Chongqing, CCAT is registered in the Ministry of Education and administered by Chongqing Municipal Education Commission. Located in university town, CCAT covers an area of 149 acres. There are around 8,000 full-time students and more than 500 teachers (including 262 teachers with advanced degree , 148 professors) . CCAT has a number of high-level experts, with strong teaching and research capability.
