CAFA Profile The Central Academy of Fine Arts is the only higher art school directly under the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. The two disciplines of Fine arts and design of our school have entered the "double first-class" construction sequence for two consecutive rounds, and it is also the only art college whose two disciplines have been selected as "double first-class" construction disciplines. There are 17 schools, including the School of Chinese Painting and Calligraphy, the Department of Oil Painting, the Department of Printmaking, the Department of Sculpture, the Department of Mural Painting, the Department of Fine Art, the School of Experimental and Science-Technology Art, the School of Humanities, the School of Design, the School of Architecture, the School of city Design, the School of Art Management and Education, the (Sino-French) School of Art and Design Management, the School of Restoration, the Graduate School, the School of Marxism and the School of Continuing Education. It is a teaching institution, as well as nine scientific research institutions such as the Aesthetic Education Research Institute, the Art Design Research Institute, the National Thematic Art Creation Research Center, the Visual Art Advanced Innovation Center, and the editorial Department.…
